I like to take a flexible approach to the weddings that I cover because each couple and each event is unique.

It is the uniqueness of the day, comprised of the raw emotions, the joy and yes, the hilarity that often surfaces at odd moments during the day, that I am aiming to capture. In my experience, it is only possible to achieve this aim when I sit back and allow events to take their course, rather than trying to orchestrate the whole day.

I feel very strongly that it is you and your betrothed who should be the stars of the show and not the person you hire to capture each special moment on film. For this reason, I do not offer inflexible packages that I expect my clients to fit their needs around. Instead, I take the time to find out exactly what you desire and base my price and ‘package’ on this information.

What You Definitely Won’t Get from Me

There are certain things that you absolutely want from a photographer at your wedding and reception and certain things that you most definitely can do without. Below are a few of the latter that you will not be getting from me!

• Endless Herding – I will be there for all the most important moments throughout your special day but I will not be constantly haranguing you and your guests in an attempt to take a never-ending reel of formal, posed photographs. Natural and relaxed is my style.
• A Barrage of Questions – Although I will take the time to find out just what you would like me to produce, in the way of photographs and your wedding album, I will not bore you to tears by asking you so many questions that you think you have accidentally wandered onto the set of Mastermind.
• Requests for More Money – I don’t believe in hidden extras, I think that once a price has been agreed you should be able to relax and look forward to the end product.
